Bosnian–English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between speakers of Bosnian and English.

• Process information swiftly and accurately while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Answer calls in a professional manner in accordance with the interpreter's code of conduct.

• Possess familiarity with industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Engage in internal professional development training.

• Communicate and provide reports to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Bosnian.

• At least 2 years of interpretation experience.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to convey accurate concepts and meanings following established interpretation protocols, ensuring no omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with the client's permission or at their request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Must have Windows 10 or Mac operating system.

• A quiet and secure workspace is necessary.

• Language testing and background verification may be required depending on the location.
