Bosnian VRI/OPI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Professionally respond to calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Be knowledgeable about the specific vocabulary relevant to the healthcare and medical industry.

• Accurately and fully convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service while interpreting.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Show eagerness to acquire new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader effectively.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language 'Bosnian.'

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare field are a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Exceptional emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
