This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, which includes processing invoices and managing payment allocations.
• Handle supplier invoices and arrange payments in accordance with the established payment terms.
• Maintain financial records for customers, suppliers, debtors, and creditors.
• Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies that arise.
• Keep track of outstanding invoices and perform debt collection along with payment follow-ups.
• Send customer statements and payment reminders through email and phone calls.
• Raise issues regarding overdue accounts and unresolved payment situations to management.
• Provide updates concerning outstanding balances and collection efforts.
• Manage and uphold financial information in Simpro and Xero.
• Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and supplier bills.
• Allocate income and expenses to the correct accounts and projects.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions.
• Manage expenses and keep financial documentation organized.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Enhance financial processes and administrative workflows.
• Aid in payroll processing, which includes timesheets, leave, superannuation, and employee payment runs.
• Maintain payroll records in Xero and support payroll reconciliations.
• Ensure payroll data complies with Australian payroll regulations.
• Candidate must be based in the Philippines.
• Proven bookkeeping experience in support of Australian businesses.
• Practical experience with both Simpro and Xero is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting practices.
• Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and performing bank reconciliations.
• Background in processing Australian payroll using Xero.
• Experience in debt collection and following up on customer payments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Availability to work during designated Australian business hours.
• Willingness to attend meetings and collaborate during core AEST business hours.
• Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client commitments.

• Fully remote work from home.

• Potential to transition to a full-time position within 3–6 months, with a salary of up to AUD $2,000/month, based on business growth and workload.
