This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise financial documentation across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, amortizations, and other financial accounts.

• Document and reconcile daily sales transactions from platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok.

• Reconcile accounts for PayPal, Stripe, Amazon Payments, and TikTok payment processing.

• Oversee accounts payable, which includes vendor payments, expense monitoring, and proper documentation.

• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and audits.

• Generate monthly profit and loss statements and financial reports for management review.

• Provide monthly financial analyses that include trends, variances, cost-saving opportunities, and business insights.

• Manage inventory valuation and cost of goods sold recognition, including conducting physical inventory counts and reconciliations.

• Assist in month-end closing procedures.

• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting efforts.

• Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and data-driven business strategies.

• Identify and report any irregular or unusual financial activities.

• Aid in special projects, ad-hoc financial analyses, and initiatives for process improvement.

• Suggest enhancements to accounting and financial processes to boost accuracy and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Previous accounting experience in eCommerce or online retail is essential.

• Solid grasp of inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), amortization, and cost recognition.

• Experience managing multi-channel eCommerce transactions and reconciliations.

• Proficient in accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Capability to work with financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights for the business.

• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Capacity to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with Amazon FBA accounting and multi-channel eCommerce operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred.

• Knowledge of cost accounting methodologies is preferred.

• Proven track record of implementing process improvements in financial or accounting operations is preferred.

• Fiber internet with a recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps.

• Backup internet with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps.
