This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist in ensuring financial stability and operational continuity at a retail pet supply store and horse riding stable.

• Oversee crucial back-end financial operations.

• Carry out month-end reconciliations and uphold accurate ledger accounts.

• Handle daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction processing.

• Track bank transactions and monitor cash flow.

• Generate profit and loss statements.

• Offer strategic financial support if hours are increased.

• Collaborate closely with leadership to uphold financial accuracy and enhance transaction processing.

• Set operational standards and alignment during the initial three-month onboarding phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Perform month-end financial reconciliations on QuickBooks to ensure accurate ledger accounts.

• Efficiently manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Oversee daily bank transactions to maintain precise record-keeping and cash flow monitoring.

• Prepare profit and loss statements and offer strategic financial assistance if hours are increased.

• Actively engage during the initial three-month busy period to guarantee full alignment on operational processes.

• Maintain consistent email communication and utilize client software systems to accomplish tasks.

• Operate as an independent contractor.
