This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Engage in a team development initiative aimed at addressing the evolving needs of Bodily Injury and Homeowners Liability claims.
• Manage a diverse range of intricate claims, including extended handling, litigation, and homeowners liability claims, based on business requirements, performance metrics, and personal development objectives.
• Assess subrogation or fraud potential and devise handling strategies for complex cases.
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of company insurance policies, the insurance landscape, and organizational dynamics.
• Conduct investigations into complex auto claims, focusing on coverage, liability, and damages, with discretion and autonomy.
• Review, assess, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims as they arise.
• Recognize vehicle body components and comprehend possible property damage.
• Identify customer requirements and respond effectively using suitable customer service techniques.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals to assist customers during challenging circumstances.
• Experienced Adjuster with expertise in both Bodily Injury and Homeowners Liability claims.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational relationships.
• Proven experience in managing complex auto claims related to coverage, liability, and damages.
• Capability to review, assess, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims.
• Familiarity with vehicle body parts and possible property damage.
• Ability to evaluate subrogation or fraud potential.
• Strong customer service and de-escalation abilities.
• Litigation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during their employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license are required to formally surrender it when directed by the licensing team.
• Remote work necessitates a dedicated, private workspace that is free from distractions, along with suitable desk and seating arrangements.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
• Base compensation offered based on experience and qualifications.
• Incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) may be applicable.
• Comprehensive technology package including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
