Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, and resolve claims related to private passenger auto liability for both first and third parties.

• Actively explore and address inquiries concerning coverage, liability, and damages.

• Ensure appropriate reserving and management of diaries/tasks for all assigned claims.

• Follow Patriot MGA's standard operating procedures and best practices in claims handling.

• Provide exceptional customer service to insured individuals, claimants, carriers, and partners.

• Adjust files in accordance with state regulations.

• Thoroughly document all activities related to claims to support decision-making in investigations.

• Assess and negotiate bodily injury claims with injured parties or their representatives.

• Document and respond to demands in alignment with Patriot MGA's best practices and state regulations.

• Report directly to the Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager.

• Make a positive contribution to the overall business culture and morale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience handling bodily injury auto claims; 5 years or more is preferred.

• Background in an MGA, insurance carrier, or claims administration environment.

• Active adjuster licenses in relevant states, or the capability to acquire necessary licenses.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-stress work environment.

• Proven track record of positively influencing team culture and morale.

• Ability to maintain organization in a dynamic work setting.

• Proven skills in managing confrontational situations with both first-party and third-party customers.
