Bodily Injury Adjuster – Represented, Litigation, Complex, Severe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving one or more vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, often with the involvement of attorneys or litigation.

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

• Communicate effectively with customers and attorneys via phone calls, email, and text messages.

• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with all parties involved.

• Conduct thorough damage assessments and interpret insurance policies to ascertain coverage.

• Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Manage complex negotiations by employing legal and business standard methodologies.

• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, settlement platforms, and various other claims resources.

• Accurately and promptly document claims activities in the claims system.

• Safeguard the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.

• Keep customers informed about the status of their claims and provide preferred communication options.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in handling Casualty Represented or Litigation UM/UIM claims is required.

• Experience in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.

• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of advanced tools and platforms for claims evaluation.

• Must undergo a background investigation.

• May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of employment if applicable; obtaining the license is not a prerequisite for hiring.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
