Board Certified Behavior Analyst, BCBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder to assess their behavior, skills, and requirements.

• Create customized Behavior Intervention Plans informed by assessment findings.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

• Develop and execute evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis interventions.

• Track and modify treatment plans according to client progress and evolving needs.

• Utilize ABA techniques to enhance social, communication, academic, and daily living abilities.

• Mitigate maladaptive behaviors while fostering positive behavioral changes.

• Gather and analyze behavioral data to assess the effectiveness of interventions.

• Keep detailed documentation and compile progress reports.

• Provide education and support to parents and caregivers for implementing behavioral strategies at home.

• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Oversee and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians and direct support staff.

• Conduct performance evaluations and offer professional development opportunities.

• Engage with community resources and support networks.

• Ensure that interventions adhere to ethical standards, professional guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Stay updated on research related to behavior analysis and autism treatment.

• Manage crisis situations using de-escalation techniques.

• Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR.

• Assist in creating staff training procedures and materials.

• Document client progress through monthly and quarterly notes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.

• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• BCBA certification is mandatory.

• Experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention.

• Familiarity with age-appropriate activities and behaviors.

• Understanding of CPT codes, payer regulations, and policies.

• Knowledge of research-supported treatment modalities and assessment techniques.

• Capacity to review and interpret complex technical information.

• Ability to draft technical documents and communicate persuasively to drive desired outcomes.

• Skills in analyzing situations, identifying core issues, and drawing conclusions.

• Must possess reliable transportation.

• Capability to perform necessary physical tasks, including standing for extended durations, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and frequent movements such as pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing.

• Proficiency in reading and understanding simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to compose simple correspondence.

• Competence in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

• Ability to apply practical understanding to detailed written or verbal instructions.

• Capacity to manage problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Ability to make independent decisions with sound judgment and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of and ability to participate in approved crisis management procedures.

• Skill in accurately and objectively recording and entering data in compliance with Oakwood requirements.
