Board Certified Behavior Analyst – BCBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to assess their behaviors, skills, and requirements.

• Create personalized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and work in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop and execute evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.

• Monitor and modify treatment plans in response to progress and evolving needs.

• Utilize ABA techniques to enhance social, communication, academic, and daily living abilities.

• Mitigate maladaptive behaviors while encouraging positive behavioral transformations.

• Gather and analyze behavioral data and progress metrics to assess the effectiveness of interventions.

• Maintain comprehensive records and compile reports.

• Educate and assist parents and caregivers in executing behavioral strategies at home.

• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals.

• Oversee and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support staff.

• Conduct performance evaluations and offer professional development opportunities.

• Engage with community resources and support networks.

• Ensure that interventions adhere to ethical guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Keep abreast of the latest research in behavior analysis and autism treatment.

• Manage crisis situations employing de-escalation techniques.

• Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR.

• Assist in the creation of staff training procedures and materials.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly notes detailing client progression.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.

• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• BCBA certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral interventions.

• Familiarity with age-appropriate activities and behaviors.

• Understanding of CPT codes, payer rules, regulations, and policies.

• Knowledge of research-supported treatment modalities and assessment techniques.

• Ability to review and interpret complex technical information.

• Proficiency in writing technical documentation and delivering persuasive presentations.

• Strong analytical skills to assess situations, identify key issues, and formulate conclusions.

• Reliable means of transportation.

• Capability to perform necessary physical tasks, including standing for prolonged periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

• Competence in participating in and demonstrating knowledge of approved crisis management procedures.

• Ability to document and input data clearly, accurately, and objectively in accordance with Oakwood standards.

• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, correspondence, and memos.

• Skill in writing straightforward correspondence and presenting information in individual and small-group contexts.

• Capacity to apply common-sense reasoning to detailed written or oral instructions.

• Ability to make independent judgments with sound decision-making skills and attention to detail.
