Biostatistics Consultant – Oncology Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead biostatistician for designated oncology clinical trials

• Oversee the activities related to study closeout

• Review, verify, and implement intricate statistical analyses

• Collaborate with and mentor statistical programmers in the creation of SDTM/ADaM datasets

• Develop detailed TLF (Tables, Listings, and Figures) specifications

• Conduct rigorous quality control assessments on programming tasks

• Analyze and interpret complex statistical findings

• Provide statistical methodologies, narratives, and data frameworks for scientific abstracts, posters, and manuscripts

• Work alongside the Medical Strategy Lead and Publications Specialist on statistical inquiries related to publications

• Resolve statistical ambiguities and convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Guarantee precision and data integrity in data-driven insights

• Align analytical metrics with clinical trial protocols and compliance standards

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of post-PhD experience or 5 years of post-MS experience in directly managing and executing statistical analyses within clinical trials

• Extensive knowledge of statistical principles, current methodologies, and intricate design rules applicable to oncology clinical trials

• Practical experience with Bayesian modeling and analysis as well as traditional frequentist statistical frameworks

• Advanced proficiency in SAS and R

• Capability to independently guide, validate, and troubleshoot automated analyses

• Thorough experience with CDISC SDTM and ADaM data standards, including the development and quality control of data specifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficiency in articulating complex statistical designs, decision rules, and analysis plans to cross-functional medical teams

• PhD or Master's degree (MS) in Statistics or Biostatistics
