BIM Specialist, 4D/5D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Address intricate technical challenges for the team, develop reusable project standards, and set best practices.

• Create high-fidelity outputs, such as digital rehearsals, sophisticated comparison videos, and 5D dashboards.

• Conduct QA/QC on outputs and act as the technical mentor for the team, without direct management duties.

• Assist planning engineers, project managers, and field superintendents with 4D/5D services.

• Oversee the 4D Construction Sequencing and Simulation process.

• Define, create, and continuously enhance BIM/VDC workflows for 4D planning and 5D cost management.

• Troubleshoot model-linking, model breakdown, and construction-sequence coordination challenges.

• Direct the coordination of intricate construction sequences and generate digital rehearsals for essential activities.

• Design, develop, and conduct QA on 5D dashboards using Power BI.

• Spearhead the generation of RFIs and technical presentations for clients' planning teams.

• Manage the technical components of meetings with clients and contractors, ensuring validation of scope, solutions, and quality of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background with construction firms, including practical delivery of 4D/5D services and a portfolio of executed simulations and analyses.

• In-depth expertise in at least one leading 4D platform, preferably Synchro 4D Pro and Fuzor.

• Advanced skills in Revit.

• Proven capability to design workflows, establish technical standards, and lead the coordination of intricate sequences.

• Experience in creating high-fidelity digital rehearsals and Power BI dashboards.

• Proven track record in leading technical reviews and mentoring specialists.

• Proficient in Open BIM (IFC, BCF, IDS) and experienced in federating models from diverse vendors.

• Familiarity with administering Autodesk Forma / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as a common data environment (CDE).

• Experience with hyperscale programs/data centers involving multiple buildings.

• Skilled in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, with a solid understanding of construction scheduling logic.

• Proficiency in English.

• Bachelor's degree, associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent technical education.
