Billing Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage with service providers to resolve invoice discrepancies or inquiries.

• Identify and label invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).

• Review invoices for inconsistencies and confirm customer approval limits.

• Organize invoices by dragging and dropping them into the appropriate system events.

• Implement TMCare resets as necessary.

• Manage rebilling for Roadside and TMCare services.

• Index invoices into the workflow management system.

• Conduct VMRS coding and cost allocation for invoices.

• Verify invoices to ensure accurate billing.

• Address Purchase Order (PO) line inquiries and manage overflow calls.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned within the Billing department.

• Ensure precise and prompt billing operations for the Cox Fleet.

• Maintain effective communication with service providers and team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Proficient in using computers and office equipment for data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying.

• Previous experience with VMRS coding and billing is advantageous.

• Excellent attention to detail and capability to handle high volumes of work with accuracy.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
