Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and issue precise invoices for services provided professionally.

• Oversee and monitor billing timelines to ensure prompt invoicing.

• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Keep accurate and current records of billing activities.

• Collaborate with finance and client service teams to improve billing processes.

• Ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies.

• Maintain organized daily records with a strong focus on detail.

• Generate comprehensive financial reports to aid in decision-making.

• Act as a subject matter expert and resource for all coding and billing processes.

• Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, completing tasks promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in professional services billing.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or QuickBooks online accounting systems is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of the billing process from beginning to end.

• Experience with Monday.com is preferred.

• Clear knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.

• Required proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• A team player with a sharp attention to detail.

• Required experience with 1099 contractor professional services billing.

• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong computer skills are essential.

• Excellent organizational capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail and responsiveness to client requests.

• Ability to understand and apply complex billing instructions.

• Capacity to support time zones from the east to the west coast.
