This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
β’ Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email as the initial point of contact.
β’ Collaborate with various departments to assist customers and support internal teams.
β’ Accurately process billing transactions, invoices, credits, and account adjustments within designated timelines.
β’ Establish and maintain customer accounts within billing systems.
β’ Review, validate, and audit billing information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
β’ Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries.
β’ Record payments and adjustments to customer accounts.
β’ Monitor billing reports to identify exceptions or potential concerns.
β’ Assist with collection-related activities and track payments.
β’ Collect information from internal departments to address billing issues.
β’ Maintain precise records and supporting documentation.
β’ Adhere to company billing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing billing efficiency and accuracy.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of billing-related experience, ideally in a customer-facing position.
β’ Any degree or certification beyond a high school diploma or GED must include at least 1 year of relevant experience.
β’ Capability to articulate issues, document resolutions, and identify when to escalate matters.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
β’ Proficient accounting, organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills are required.
β’ Excellent knowledge of computers and software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Oracle.
β’ Experience in working with customers or vendors to resolve issues with an outstanding customer service record.
β’ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
β’ Must currently possess authorization to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
β’ No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
β’ Minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off each month.
