This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address inquiries related to Revenue Cycle Management and Patient Billing.

• Manage communications through inbound and outbound calls, emails, voicemails, faxes, and the patient portal.

• Liaise with offices and patients to ensure information is up-to-date.

• Process payment requests submitted by patients.

• Accurately update insurance plan details and other information on the portal.

• Assist leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks.

• Respond to questions and concerns regarding patient accounts and center-related issues.

• Collaborate with patients and providers to address account challenges and communicate next steps for troubleshooting.

• Identify potential issues within the revenue cycle and escalate them for departmental or leadership consideration.

• Review billing transactions for precision and assist in resolving payment-posting issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center setting.

• Strongly preferred: experience in healthcare revenue cycle.

• Prior experience with Electronic Health Record systems (EHRs), call center operations, and phone systems.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, the Internet, and Email.

• Solid understanding of major health insurance carriers (both in-network and out-of-network).

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Professional demeanor when handling confidential and sensitive patient information.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient typing skills.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a professional demeanor, demonstrating empathy and compassion when interacting with patients.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Capability to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk.

• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
