Billing Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete billing operations for new system agreements, renewals, and amendments within assigned accounts.

• Produce precise and timely invoices that align with contractual obligations.

• Reconcile billing information across various systems and proactively address any discrepancies.

• Oversee the monthly renewal invoicing procedures.

• Confirm contract terms, pricing, and billing schedules prior to invoice issuance.

• Act as the primary contact for billing-related inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders.

• Investigate and resolve billing issues while adhering to policies and controls.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Contracts, and Finance teams to ensure accurate execution of deals.

• Identify gaps in upstream processes and escalate risks and blockers while proposing effective solutions.

• Enhance workflows, minimize manual efforts, and standardize global billing practices.

• Assist in ERP, CRM, and other system upgrades and process modifications.

• Develop the capability to manage billing across various regions, currencies, and business models.

• Engage in cross-training and provide support during extended hours at month-end and quarter-end peaks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Billing Operations, Order-to-Cash, or a related finance operations position.

• Proven track record in a high-volume, fast-paced environment handling complex transactions.

• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

• Advanced skills in Excel, including data validation, reconciliation, and lookups.

• Capability to efficiently navigate multiple systems and datasets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• Competence in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Confident communication skills with the ability to constructively challenge ideas.

• An ownership mindset emphasizing accountability and results.

• Availability to work from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM Philippine Time, Monday through Friday.

• AAT qualification or equivalent is a plus.

• Experience with SaaS, subscription billing, or recurring revenue models is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with or supporting global teams is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency environments is advantageous.

• Exposure to system implementations or process transformation initiatives is a plus.
