Billing Operations and Collections Analyst – Temp Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manage account collections by sending invoice reminders and engaging with customers through phone, email, or mail.

• Address customer inquiries using an automated ticketing system.

• Conduct Zoom meetings with customers to resolve invoicing concerns.

• Execute customer and internal account reconciliations.

• Ensure customer accounts comply with the company's collection policy.

• Record customer payments by documenting credit card transactions and inputting them into accounting software.

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure payments are accurately recorded and posted.

• Investigate account discrepancies utilizing information from sales, customer support, and customers.

• Resolve and validate deductions by entering necessary adjusting entries.

• Collaborate with other departments to address accounts receivable challenges.

• Propose process enhancements for billing and collections.

• Provide assistance with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a billing role.

• At least 2 years of experience in collections.

• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

• Outstanding interpersonal and exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

• High energy, adaptable, and proactive.

• Creative with the ability to draw on experience and knowledge to effectively collect receivable balances.

• Familiarity with AbsorbLMS, Zendesk, Zuora, and Salesforce.

• Subject to pre-employment background screening, including a criminal record check.
