Billing & Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire billing process, which includes generating invoices, reviewing them, submitting, and following up.

• Ensure that customer invoices are precise, timely, and in accordance with contractual agreements.

• Track accounts receivable balances and proactively engage with customers regarding outstanding invoices.

• Perform collection activities through various communication channels with customers.

• Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and customer inquiries.

• Accurately apply and reconcile customer payments within the accounting system.

• Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts to minimize overdue balances.

• Keep accurate records and documentation of customer accounts.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and timely resolution of issues.

• Prepare and distribute account statements and collection reports.

• Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable and billing.

• Suggest process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and cash collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections positions.

• Demonstrated experience in managing full-cycle billing processes.

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and collection best practices.

• Experience in reconciling customer accounts and addressing billing discrepancies.

• Ability to professionally communicate with customers regarding payment issues.

• Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
