Billing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Prepare precise client installment and audit invoices according to line of business.

• Develop accurate installment and per claim invoices for designated clients.

• Allocate revenue correctly to the respective clients and company locations.

• Generate and uphold department systems.

• Maintain a system of Recurring Journal Entries to correctly defer annual, semi-annual, and quarterly revenue.

• Input key journal entries for the accounting team.

• Keep client billing files updated with current billing instructions and contracts.

• Create monthly revenue versus budget variance reports.

• Reconcile client claim disbursement accounts.

• Deliver comprehensive client invoice reporting packages.

• Investigate and resolve issues for both internal and external customers.

• Carry out other assigned duties.

• Assist with the organization's quality program(s).

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is necessary.

• A minimum of two (2) years of billing or a related field experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.

• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Capability to meet deadlines effectively.

• Ability to collaborate within a team environment.

• Capacity to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.

• Detail-oriented; able to prevent errors in financial data and billing.

• Skillful in managing multiple priorities at once.

• Proficient in computer keyboarding.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
