This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan, +2 more countries.
• Assist with the complete billing and invoicing process for Reap's card programs, payments, and platform fees.
• Convert contracts, pricing schedules, and rate cards into precise billing statements.
• Implement interchange fees, foreign exchange and conversion fees, transaction charges, subscription and platform fees, minimums, tiered pricing, and customized partner agreements.
• Reconcile billing records with source transaction data from card and payment systems.
• Methodically investigate and resolve any discrepancies in billing.
• Detect under-billing, overlooked fees, and revenue losses; quantify these issues, address root causes, and enhance controls.
• Oversee accounts receivable and collections, track aging, follow up on overdue payments, and collaborate with account managers on escalations.
• Address client billing inquiries and disputes with clear, well-supported answers.
• Assist in IFRS-compliant revenue recognition and month-end closing tasks, including billing accruals, deferred revenue, and revenue schedules.
• Automate the invoice creation process, data extraction, and reconciliation using SQL and data tools.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and establish scalable billing controls.
• Work in partnership with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering on launches, pricing adjustments, and contract revisions.
• Facilitate external audits by preparing billing and revenue schedules, addressing queries, and maintaining documentation that meets audit standards.
• Between 2 to 6 years of experience in billing, revenue operations, accounts receivable, or revenue accounting.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is highly beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes of transaction data.
• Proficient in Excel and capable of working with large datasets.
• Proficient in SQL or a strong eagerness to learn rapidly.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles and the relationship between billing and financial closing.
• Strong, professional written communication skills in English.
• Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with uncertainty and new challenges.
• Formal accounting education (CPA or equivalent, completed or in progress) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience billing for card programs, payments, or consumption-based pricing models is a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehouses like Snowflake and business intelligence tools like Metabase is a bonus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct and billing/invoicing software is desirable.
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments is a plus.
• Interest in or familiarity with stablecoins, cryptocurrencies, or digital assets is a plus.
• Significant ownership of the financial aspects of a business line.
