Bilingual TRC Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver technical support informed by practical automotive mechanical experience.

• Evaluate the necessity, scope, and precision of suggested repairs in line with industry standards and personal hands-on experience.

• Ensure that repair and maintenance tasks are carried out correctly and priced fairly.

• Spot opportunities for cost reductions through technical assessments, and where suitable, negotiate repairs while documenting all savings achieved.

• Make sure that preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and adhered to consistently.

• Keep individual performance metrics at or above the set targets.

• Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support based on real-world mechanical expertise.

• Foster a positive team environment and exhibit professionalism in all interactions.

• Adjust to operational changes while maintaining composure, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach under pressure.

• Uphold a professional image, strong work ethic, and accountability in a fully remote work setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and French.

• A valid mechanic’s license 310S or 310T.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in automotive or truck repair.

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in a contact center environment (preferred).

• Post-secondary education (e.g., college diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship) (preferred).

• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred).

• ASE certification or a commitment to obtain it within the timeline established by ARI.
