This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver short-term counseling to a diverse clientele facing various challenges via phone and video sessions.

• Tailor interventions to suit both personal style and client requirements.

• Handle administrative tasks utilizing clinical templates and technological tools.

• Minimize note-taking and administrative responsibilities through technology solutions.

• Engage in team meetings and peer discussion groups.

• Enhance clinical skills while working with a varied and dynamic client base.

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to provide exceptional EAP services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in mental health or a related discipline.

• Registered member in good standing with the OPQ or OTSTCFQ; master’s level certification is mandatory.

• Minimum of five years of clinical experience.

• Capability to establish short-term objectives and apply a solution-focused methodology.

• Compassionate and skilled in managing crises or high-risk scenarios.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle a large volume of clients.

• Access to a secure and confidential workspace.

• Fluency in French is required; bilingualism is advantageous.

• Comfortable working with a diverse clientele and proficient in brief intervention techniques.

• Proactive, resourceful, organized, and a team player.
