Bilingual Relationship Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with designated Key Accounts and Tier 1-3 MGAs/NAs, serving as a reliable operational partner.

• Act as a resource for escalations from distributors when issues cannot be resolved via established support channels.

• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams to investigate, communicate, and resolve intricate operational challenges.

• Advocate for the needs of distributors and advisors while ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational standards.

• Conduct training and enablement sessions to promote awareness and usage of Manulife tools and procedures.

• Represent the viewpoints of distributors and advisors in small to mid-sized projects, making sure their needs are incorporated into planning and execution.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in the Canadian Insurance sector.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry focusing on relationship management.

• Direct experience in supporting the segregated fund business.

• Post-secondary education or equivalent business experience.

• Fully bilingual in French and English.

• Strong skills in relationship management and stakeholder engagement.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience in managing escalations.

• Capable of influencing and collaborating across various business areas.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to handle competing priorities.

• In-depth knowledge of the Canadian Insurance and wealth sectors.

• Experience in delivering training, education, or enablement initiatives.

• Comfortable discussing segregated fund products, compensation structures, and operational processes.
