
Bilingual Registered Nurse, English/Spanish – Triage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Monitor and respond to both inbound and outbound calls for a multi-state nurse triage telephone service.
• Implement Schmitt-Thompson telephone triage protocols and accurately document patient interactions within client EHR systems and/or the Call 4 Health platform.
• Conduct clinical assessments and triage patients via telephone or patient portals.
• Manage medication prescription refills in accordance with established protocols.
• Inform providers of critical results and facilitate follow-up care after hospital discharges or surgical procedures.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate on prior authorization requests that require clinical consultation.
• Address inquiries from hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, and Departments of Labor or Motor Vehicles.
• Engage in Remote Patient Monitoring programs by reviewing vital signs and providing education on chronic disease management.
• Screen and qualify patients for clinical trials, conduct follow-up outreach, and deliver patient education.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care delivery.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing or a related field.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• A minimum of 2–4 years of full-time clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior experience in telephone triage using electronic triage systems.
• Familiarity with at least two different Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
• An active, unencumbered Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) license is required.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested by the company.
• Licenses from Minnesota, Oregon, New York, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Illinois are required.
• Capability to manage and accurately document a minimum of four calls per hour during peak periods.
• Ability to work remotely from a private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace.
• Space to accommodate company-provided equipment.

• Ability to participate in staff meetings through telephone or video.
• Capacity to sit for extended periods while using a headset or earpiece.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read computer screens, scripts, and forms.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced remote environment.
