Bilingual Pediatric Medical Receptionist, ECW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Schedule, reschedule, and oversee patient appointments utilizing eClinicalWorks (ECW)

• Professionally and efficiently manage incoming patient phone calls

• Engage in friendly and professional communication with patients and their families

• Address patient emails and messages through the practice inbox

• Conduct insurance eligibility and benefits verification

• Keep patient information and appointment records accurate and current

• Assist with general front-desk and administrative tasks as required

• Adhere to established procedures for scheduling, patient communication, and insurance verification

• Manage a high volume of patient interactions while maintaining a positive and professional phone demeanor

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish

• Practical experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW)

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist, front-desk coordinator, patient care coordinator, or medical virtual assistant

• Experience in managing inbound patient calls and appointment scheduling

• Background in insurance eligibility and benefits verification

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Confident, professional, and approachable phone demeanor

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail

• Availability to work EST hours

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

• Proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage; ideally, knowledge of English, Spanish, and Portuguese

• Previous experience in a pediatric practice or front-desk environment

• Experience supporting healthcare practices based in the U.S.

• Familiarity with common healthcare administrative workflows and patient scheduling processes
