Bid Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate incoming RFPs, RFIs, clarification requests, and various projects

• Create project plans based on specified requirements

• Develop and oversee timelines and deliverables

• Complete proposals and supporting documents in accordance with deadlines and methods of delivery

• Organize final proposal submissions for distribution, filing, and archiving

• Build and sustain relationships with bid teams

• Maintain direct communication with the Project Manager

• Prioritize tasks, manage time, and effectively oversee team workload

• Review bid responses to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and of high quality

• Preserve BCD Travel’s comprehensive database of proposal-related information

• Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout BCD Travel’s network

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in proposal writing, journalism, or marketing within a corporate setting

• Familiarity with the travel industry

• Excellent communication skills in English: verbal, written, and presentation

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce

• Competence in business software applications, including proposal writing tools and online sourcing platforms (Ariba)

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

• Availability to work Eastern or Central hours for global collaboration
