BI Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Set up and configure the QuickLaunch product along with Microsoft BI components, which include SQL Database Views, Power BI Premium Datasets, Paginated Reports, and dynamic Power BI dashboards.

• Facilitate solution review sessions with clients.

• Verify QuickLaunch implementations for accuracy and functionality.

• Configure ETL solutions utilizing Databricks or Microsoft Fabric for effective data integration and transformation.

• Establish and secure Power BI workspaces.

• Guide customers in best practices for content management and governance.

• Engage directly with clients remotely, ensuring a positive and high-quality client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics projects utilizing Microsoft BI technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of T-SQL.

• Familiarity with Microsoft BI Solutions, including paginated reports.

• Proficient in data models within Power BI or SSAS Tabular Models.

• Experience with JD Edwards, Viewpoint, OneStream, Salesforce, or other large and complex ERP systems.

• Extensive knowledge of reporting and business intelligence applications.

• Proficient in using Pivot tables.

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts in business terms.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Familiarity with ETL processes, preferably Databricks.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Microsoft Fabric Warehouse, and Microsoft Data Pipelines.

• Experience on the business side of reporting and analytics, including understanding income statements, balance sheets, or other financial documents.
