BI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation and adoption of Power BI throughout the organization.

• Create, develop, and manage dashboards that offer real-time insights into business KPIs, such as MRR, churn, CAC, and operational performance.

• Integrate Power BI with Salesforce, ERP systems, SQL databases, and subscription services.

• Construct scalable data models using DAX and Power Query for effective reporting and forecasting.

• Provide training and assistance to business users to foster self-service analytics and enhance data literacy.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, IT, and Product teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

• Establish and enforce data governance practices that prioritize security, compliance, and data integrity.

• Oversee Power BI projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and delivery.

• Enhance dashboards for optimal performance and reliability while troubleshooting technical issues.

• Keep abreast of Power BI advancements and propose innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Power BI in a software or subscription business setting.

• Advanced skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, dataflows, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, SQL Server, and ERP systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of recurring revenue, churn, retention, and other SaaS metrics.

• Capability to lead projects and synchronize both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of mentoring or empowering others.

• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and best practices in BI deployment.

• A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Power BI certification, Agile project experience, or familiarity with Python, R, or Tableau are advantageous.
