BI Functional Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Gather business needs, identify the actual requirements of users, and translate these into functional specifications.

• Analyze existing BI solutions, particularly in Looker, and determine their transition or adaptation to Strategy/MicroStrategy or Power BI.

• Transform analysis into clear and actionable specifications for technical teams, including business rules, data requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.

• Assess the feasibility of solutions, limitations, dependencies, and data needs.

• Define the scope, identify complexities, and assist in clarifying and estimating requests.

• Document solutions, requirements, and criteria to facilitate implementation.

• Serve as a liaison between the business and Data/BI teams to ensure a proper understanding and translation of needs.

• Integrate long-term into the Cívica team and collaborate with project teams, People Care, Systems, Production, Talent, and management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar roles in Data/BI environments.

• Experience working with Looker from a functional perspective, understanding existing solutions and their logic.

• Experience with Strategy/MicroStrategy, with the ability to implement solutions within the tool.

• Experience in gathering and defining functional requirements.

• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, sources, and feasibility assessment.

• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams, acting as a bridge between both.

• Experience in migration projects between BI tools, particularly from Looker to Strategy/MicroStrategy or Power BI, will be valued.

• Experience with Power BI in functional analysis or solution definition contexts will be considered an advantage.
