BI Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Gather business needs, identify the actual requirements of users, and translate them into functional specifications.

• Analyze existing BI solutions, particularly in Strategy/MicroStrategy.

• Define how to transition or adapt solutions to Looker or Power BI.

• Transform analysis into clear specifications for technical teams, including business rules, data needs, scope, and acceptance criteria.

• Assess the feasibility, limitations, dependencies, and data requirements of the solutions.

• Define the scope, identify complexities, and assist in delineating and estimating requests.

• Document solutions, requirements, and implementation criteria.

• Serve as a liaison between business and Data/BI technical teams.

• Collaborate long-term with the Cívica team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar in Data/BI environments.

• Experience working with Strategy/MicroStrategy from a functional perspective, understanding existing solutions and their logic.

• Experience with Looker, with the ability to implement solutions within the tool.

• Proficiency in gathering and defining functional requirements.

• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, sources, and feasibility assessments.

• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams, acting as a bridge between both.

• Ideally, experience in migration projects between BI tools, especially from Strategy/MicroStrategy to Looker or Power BI.

• Experience working with Power BI in functional analysis or solution definition contexts is valued.
