Benefits Call Center Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls regarding defined benefit pension and retirement plans

• Assist callers with pension eligibility, benefit computations, retirement forecasts, and payment alternatives

• Review and clarify necessary documentation and subsequent steps

• Investigate customer inquiries and deliver precise information within established guidelines

• Navigate various systems while aiding customers and recording interactions

• Accurately process transactions and requests in accordance with established protocols

• Uphold a professional and customer-centric demeanor

• Achieve productivity, quality, and accuracy benchmarks

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service and call center roles

• Experience in a high-volume call center environment is preferred

• Background in supporting defined benefit pension plans and/or retirement programs is preferred

• Familiarity with retirement eligibility, benefit computations, and pension-related queries

• Excellent communication and active listening abilities

• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Capability to adhere to established guidelines and process transactions accurately

• Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems and tools efficiently

• Ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy and quality

• Capacity to work independently and maintain productivity

• High school diploma or GED

• Must successfully pass required background screening and/or drug testing

• Must complete an internet speed test: download ≥25 Mbps, upload ≥5 Mbps, ping ≤175 ms

• Ability to connect via an ethernet cable to a modem/router

• Must reside in a qualifying U.S. state or municipality where compensation aligns with applicable wage regulations

• Must be available for the Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM production schedule post-training
