Benefits Analyst – Billing Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough analyses of invoices, copayment distributions, premiums, and employee transitions, identifying and addressing discrepancies.

• Streamline payment workflows and oversee the issuance and monitoring of payment slips and invoices.

• Set up billing protocols for each client and engage in alignment meetings for the onboarding of new accounts.

• Create and deliver management reports while tracking the department's key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Collaborate with clients’ executive teams, healthcare providers, and insurance firms, supplying analytical data to aid in decision-making and negotiations.

• Detect operational inefficiencies and suggest ongoing process enhancements.

• Assist in maintaining the financial stability of HealthBit clients by controlling, reviewing, and reporting on health, dental, and life insurance benefits billing.

• Establish rules, analyze processes, and offer strategic support in engagements with clients and healthcare providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience (2 to 4 years) in employee benefits (health, dental, and life) or insurance brokerage.

• Proficiency in analyzing employee transitions, reviewing billing, distributing costs, and calculating copayments.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and a substantial volume of members and data.

• Outstanding communication skills with the capability to engage comfortably with executive-level stakeholders and external partners.
