Benefits Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee, analyze, and enhance benefits programs for US employees

• Evaluate benefits data to determine usage, cost efficiency, and market competitiveness

• Develop and propose benefits programs aligned with market trends, employee requirements, and organizational goals

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory standards

• Manage vendor invoicing with insurance providers, brokers, and third-party administrators

• Facilitate benefits enrollment and claims handling processes

• Coordinate processes for leave of absence and workers’ compensation

• Create communication materials and lead employee informational sessions

• Address employee inquiries regarding benefits programs and changes to policy

• Perform audits and generate reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective cost management

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong analytical abilities to interpret detailed benefits data and simulate cost scenarios

• Keen attention to detail for precise calculations and compliance oversight

• Proficient in HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration software such as UKG, ADP, or Workday

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with employees, HR teams, and vendors

• In-depth knowledge of benefits-related laws and regulations

• Capability to work collaboratively with HR, finance, and management teams

• Familiarity with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA regulations

• Experience in administering health insurance, retirement plans, disability benefits, leave programs, and wellness initiatives
