Behavioral Health Therapist, Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver thorough biopsychosocial and standardized assessments for candidates seeking program enrollment.

• Create personalized support plans in collaboration with patients, incorporating specific goals.

• Offer community service resources and facilitate referrals.

• Manage enrollment and intake services.

• Address telephone inquiries regarding mental health care and associated services.

• Conduct safety assessments and planning via phone or video consultations.

• Collaborate with patients to foster self-directed and sustainable changes that reflect their values.

• Work with multidisciplinary team members to establish patient support goals.

• Attend multidisciplinary patient care conferences as required.

• Document interviews, consultations, referrals, contacts, and supportive services accurately.

• Complete documentation and reporting in accordance with departmental standards and federal and state regulations.

• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in one of the following remote states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.

• LCSW or LPC is preferred; required skills are listed.

• Experience with the Epic system is required.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment is necessary.

• Skills in crisis intervention are required.

• A Master's degree in Behavioral Health or an educational equivalent for licensing is necessary.

• No prior experience is mandated.

• Must possess a relevant state professional license/certification for the work location, including eligible LCSW, LPC/LCPC, LMFT, LADC, LBP, LMSW, LADC-MH, MFT-TL, APSW, or LPC-IT credentials as specified.
