Behavioral Health Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Therapists and Behavioral Health Support Specialists to execute programs, assist members, and achieve outcomes.

• Serve as both a leader and mentor by directly supporting members while enhancing team capabilities.

• Design and manage member service plans along with community resource guides.

• Assist members in navigating challenges, identifying triggers, preventing relapses, and engaging in social or therapeutic activities.

• Inform members about their conditions, prevention strategies, medications, and available community resources.

• Track, assess, document, and report on member progress, critical incidents, and quality of care concerns.

• Evaluate member risk and conduct crisis interventions in accordance with safety protocols.

• Ensure that members receive suitable care plans and make progress towards their goals and program completion.

• Manage caseloads, referrals, and team scheduling effectively.

• Engage in the recruitment process by screening, interviewing, and hiring team members.

• Facilitate orientation, training sessions, performance evaluations, and continuous coaching.

• Direct enrollment initiatives and ensure achievement of KPIs and partner objectives.

• Review documentation and assess team performance to pinpoint gaps and formulate improvement strategies.

• Gather and analyze member outcome data for training, member engagement, market insights, and partnership relations.

• Lead internal case reviews and attend external case-management meetings with health plan collaborators.

• Maintain accurate program data, reports, statistical records, and other required data collections.

• Collaborate with billing to verify claims for accuracy and furnish additional information as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in behavioral health, social work, or healthcare management from an accredited institution is required.

• An independent clinical behavioral health license in Washington is mandatory; eligible licenses include LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.

• Proven experience in leading, developing, and implementing programs while delivering tangible outcomes.

• Experience in Health Coaching or Medical Social Work is preferred.

• Background in suicide prevention and crisis management for adolescents and young adults, as well as populations with severe mental illnesses, is preferred.

• Experience in managing interdisciplinary care teams is preferred.

• Proven ability to ensure care aligns with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Skill in building, maintaining, and enhancing relationships and partnerships.

• Demonstrated ability to identify needs and independently initiate changes.

• Proficient in planning, organizing, managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring follow-through.

• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Capability to convey information clearly and accurately to staff, business partners, stakeholders, and clients.

• Ability to collaborate effectively to set objectives, address challenges, and make decisions.

• Competence in delivering case/care management in both routine and crisis scenarios.
