This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Take charge of the comprehensive DoW portfolio strategy, growth initiatives, and execution, with a focus on Air Force, Space Force, and UxS programs.
• Act as the Business Development / Account Executive for the portfolio, utilizing DoW relationships to enhance presence, influence, and revenue.
• Function as a reliable executive partner to DoW clients, proactively anticipating their needs.
• Identify, develop, and support new business opportunities, including capture strategies, client engagement, and solution framing.
• Represent the organization across military commands, program offices, and partner entities.
• Serve as the Transition Program Manager for high-profile DoW programs.
• Ensure excellence in performance, schedule adherence, budget management, and delivery.
• Lead senior program teams, aligning outcomes with mission objectives.
• Mentor and guide Engagement Leads, Project Managers, and supporting personnel.
• Collaborate with ASI’s AI and Data Practice teams.
• Must hold a current and active TS/SCI clearance; consideration for Top Secret on a case-by-case basis; SCI eligibility is required.
• Previous military service experience (either uniformed or civilian) within the DoW is essential.
• Established, credible relationships within the DoW, particularly at senior officer and executive levels.
• Experience in Business Development or as an Account Executive in the DoW acquisition community is required.
• Foundational to expert knowledge of military acquisition and procurement processes, including FAR-based and OT/OTA mechanisms.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of Warfighter-related procurement and R&D processes.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large, complex military programs as a Program Manager or senior executive.
• Proven track record of driving growth within DoW environments with a high win-rate.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Willingness to travel to military installations and service headquarters as needed.
• Preference for former senior military officers or equivalent senior civilians, ideally from the Air Force or Space Force.
• Candidates should be located in or around the Washington, DC Metro Area or have significant familiarity and experience with that customer base.
• Experience in leading transformation or enterprise strategy initiatives is preferred.
• Familiarity with the space and unmanned systems innovation ecosystem is advantageous.
