This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Train and model Positive Behavior Support methodology for staff

• Participate in Interdisciplinary Teams offering behavioral expertise

• Evaluate, design, instruct, monitor, and report on behavior plans

• Perform descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses

• Deliver behavior analytic interpretations of assessment findings

• Administer direct behavioral treatment through replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, group and individual behavioral treatment, and skills coaching

• Engage in the on-call rotation for behavioral issues

• Oversee restraint usage and provide training aimed at its reduction

• Monitor challenging behaviors

• Contribute to the Behavior Intervention Committee, Human Rights Committee, and other pertinent committees

• Offer individualized services for specialty intermediate care clinic patients

• Comply with the applicable requirements of 902 KAR 20:410

• Adhere to all policies and procedures


⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

• Licensed to practice in Missouri

• Specialized training and/or experience in fundamental applied behavior principles, including plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions/replacement behaviors, and risk identification/amelioration

• At least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

• Documented completion of 10 hours of annual training related to behavior supports

• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is mandatory

• Proficiency in reading and understanding simple instructions, correspondence, and memos

• Capability to write simple correspondence

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings

• Capacity to apply common sense to detailed written or oral instructions

• Skill in making independent decisions with sound judgment and attention to detail

• Ability to participate in and demonstrate knowledge of approved crisis management procedures

• Competence in recording/entering data neatly, accurately, and objectively
