BAR Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive measurable engagement, performance, confidence, exam readiness, course satisfaction, and outcomes for students.

• Utilize internal reporting tools to monitor student performance data and progression.

• Convert performance metrics into customized goals for students.

• Conduct proactive outreach and deliver targeted guidance.

• Assist students in understanding and utilizing course materials, assignments, and Kaplan resources.

• Create effective study strategies and prioritize high-impact assignments for students with time constraints or specific needs.

• Respond to student inquiries with practical advice on study techniques, exam readiness, resources, and time management.

• Organize and conduct individual remote coaching sessions.

• Address academic challenges, review performance, and suggest necessary adjustments.

• Support students in managing test anxiety and stress.

• Stay updated on NextGen Bar Exam requirements, testing characteristics, NCBE updates, and scoring rubrics.

• Encourage participation in live instructional seminars and facilitate student Q&A sessions.

• Track and communicate student feedback regarding content and course resources.

• Collect testimonials for marketing and sales initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Minimum of 1 year of coaching, tutoring, or teaching experience (law-related preferred but not mandatory).

• Active and unencumbered licensed attorney.

• Familiarity with the structure, content, and scoring of the NextGen Uniform Bar Exam.

• Knowledge of the subjects and skills assessed on the NextGen Bar Exam along with effective study and preparation techniques.

• Tech-savvy, self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently under a remote manager.

• Ability to appear on camera for remote meetings at any time during working hours.

• Flexibility and agility in responding to rapidly changing needs.
