This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process, verify, and finalize daily transactions across deposit, loan, and general ledger systems prior to end-of-day cutoffs.
• Initiate, review, and authorize both domestic and international wire transfers in accordance with Fedwire, SWIFT, dual-control, and OFAC/sanctions regulations.
• Handle incoming and outgoing ACH transactions, including NACHA validation, returns, reversals, and notifications of change (NOCs).
• Investigate and resolve transaction exceptions, holds, suspense items, out-of-balance situations, duplicates, and rejected entries.
• Act as the main escalation and inquiry point for Customer Service regarding transaction statuses, holds, tracing, and exception resolution.
• Conduct research on wire recalls, ACH disputes, and unauthorized transaction claims; coordinate with correspondent banks and the ACH network.
• Reconcile general ledger and suspense accounts while preparing adjusting entries.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, Regulation E, NACHA rules, and internal policies.
• Document processing exceptions and their root causes, while recommending improvements to processes.
• Provide support for internal and external audits and examinations with transaction records, exception logs, and procedural documentation.
• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processing and reporting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bank operations, back office processing, or a related transaction-processing role.
• Preferred hands-on experience with wire transfer processing (Fedwire/SWIFT) and ACH processing (NACHA file formats, returns, and NOCs).
• Solid working knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, and Regulation E requirements related to payment processing.
• Experience with core banking platforms and payment/wire systems such as Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, or similar technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to time-sensitive processing deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for researching and resolving exceptions and discrepancies.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with Customer Service and internal teams.
• Capability to prioritize and manage a high volume of transactions and inquiries simultaneously.
• Discretion in managing confidential customer and financial information.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented operations environment.
