Banking Fraud Operations Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, guide, and mentor a team of fraud analysts and investigators.

• Organize and monitor daily fraud detection and investigation efforts, prioritizing cases based on their severity and impact.

• Create, implement, and enhance fraud prevention strategies, workflows, and policies.

• Analyze and review fraud trends, patterns, and data to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with compliance, risk management, IT, and other departments concerning fraud-related matters.

• Prepare and present reports on fraud cases, operational metrics, and team performance to senior management.

• Ensure that operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines.

• Offer guidance and training on best practices, investigative techniques, and new technologies.

• Manage escalated fraud cases and assist in complex investigations.

• Facilitate process improvements and implement tools or technologies to enhance fraud detection abilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, criminal justice, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking fraud operations.

• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.

• Strong understanding of fraud detection methods, investigation procedures, and regulatory standards pertinent to banking.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present complex information clearly.

• Proficient in relevant software, data analysis tools, and case management systems.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and uphold confidentiality.
