Banking App Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a mobile application development team.

• Oversee the complete technical delivery process for the iOS and Android mobile banking applications.

• Convert strategic objectives into actionable plans for app development.

• Assist in launching and enhancing functionalities of the mobile banking application.

• Design and introduce new digital products by managing profitability assessments, securing approvals, defining business requirements, and planning delivery.

• Provide updates on project status, risks, dependencies, and issues to stakeholders and management.

• Establish and track KPIs related to app development, user experience, product adoption, and delivery efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with business, product, design, development, QA, operations, and customer support teams.

• Respond to user feedback, recurrent issues, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Identify user requirements, product opportunities, and gaps through detailed product and market analysis.

• Ensure compliance with internal standards, risk management, security expectations, banking regulations, and data protection requirements.

• Create product documentation including specifications, wireframes, and process flows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a comparable role.

• Familiarity with financial mobile applications, banking apps, payment systems, or fintech products.

• Solid understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, app architecture, integrations, and cross-platform development methods.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment utilizing Scrum or Kanban.

• Proficient in integrating third-party APIs and services, authentication systems, banking APIs, and third-party vendor SDKs.

• Knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, defect management, and release validation processes.

• Basic knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
