Backend Team Lead – Scanner, B2B Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of the team across multiple workstreams while ensuring high-quality delivery during sprints.

• Own and manage the Sprint Planning process.

• Coordinate with various departments to eliminate blockers and facilitate cross-team dependencies.

• Enhance team velocity and individual skills through coaching, mentoring, and identifying skill gaps.

• Take responsibility for the technical design of scalable, reliable, and well-structured team features.

• Engage in high-scale, cloud-based development utilizing AWS and MongoDB.

• Conduct thorough code reviews.

• Collaborate with Product Managers from the initial concept stage through to production.

• Participate in technical discussions with clients.

• Manage domain-specific discussions and communications with internal Customer Success teams.

• Lead discussions and make technical decisions regarding enhancements and new feature planning.

• Incorporate AI tools and workflows into daily development activities, including AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and prompt-driven prototyping.

• Promote efficient and stable delivery through the use of modern development tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of hands-on development experience.

• A minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership position.

• In-depth expertise in Node.js (essential).

• Familiarity with AWS (essential).

• Experience with React is preferred.

• Knowledge of Python is a plus.

• Early adoption of AI technologies and a passion for enhancing developer experience and system performance.

• Demonstrated ability to manage project execution and deliver end-to-end features in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Capability to lead a global team and convey complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
