Backend Software Engineer Intern – Java, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize data structures and algorithms to create scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Develop components for mobile applications

• Design schemas in PostgreSQL and enhance query performance

• Deploy robust microservices on AWS cloud infrastructure

• Employ contemporary AI tools and trends to develop AI agents

• Automate processes to speed up project delivery

• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement best practices in software design

• Write thoroughly tested code with a focus on test-driven development

• Deliver features throughout the internship

• Work closely with Product Managers and clients to identify challenges and design solutions centered around customer needs

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

• Strong command of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)

• Practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure

• Knowledge of mobile application development concepts

• Ability to effectively utilize AI tools and investigate current AI trends

• Capability to create functional AI agents for project workflows

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
