Backend Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Utilize state-of-the-art computer vision technology to create visually impressive 3D experiences for home décor clients.

• Design efficient distributed backend services with reliable APIs tailored for high availability.

• Take ownership of critical systems and components, overseeing their development, deployment, operation, and ongoing enhancement.

• Facilitate communication and support with both internal and external partners to drive results.

• Acquire and refine skill sets in collaboration with colleagues and mentors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Solid computer science fundamentals, either through a degree in computer science or notable experience in software development.

• Strong grasp of system architecture, with an emphasis on availability, reliability, and performance.

• High emphasis on execution and timely product delivery.

• Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on quality and long-term objectives.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Comfortable engaging with senior management, project stakeholders, and other development teams.

• Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment where learning and flexibility are essential.

• Familiarity with Python, Django, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and AWS is highly preferred but not mandatory.
