Backend Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Enhance and develop features for AppMagic, Sensor Tower’s app market intelligence SaaS platform tailored for SMBs.

• Engage in the complete development life cycle, encompassing design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment.

• Execute parsing, data aggregation, API architecture, code refactoring, and performance enhancement.

• Design and optimize intricate database queries for analysis and modification purposes.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Recommend improvements for tools and workflows.

• Work with the backend technologies including Golang, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with seasoned engineers and contribute to production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Go; candidates with less experience may be considered if they have substantial GitHub contributions and other coding examples.

• Proficient SQL skills with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.

• Capability to decide between using ORM and raw SQL.

• Skill in writing and debugging complex database queries.

• Ability to produce testable, reliable code.

• Product-focused mindset with an emphasis on user requirements.

• Proactive curiosity and a drive to independently explore sources.

• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Must be able to pass a technical interview in both Russian and English.

• Practical and thoughtful application of AI tools in development.

• Authorization to work in Kazakhstan without visa assistance now or in the future.

• A GitHub profile and link to a contributed GitHub repository are necessary in the application.
