Backend Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Enhance and develop new functionalities for AppMagic, Sensor Tower’s SaaS platform for app market intelligence aimed at SMBs.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, which includes design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment.

• Execute parsing, data aggregation, API design, refactoring, and performance enhancement.

• Design and refine intricate database queries for data analysis and modification.

• Carry out code reviews and propose enhancements to tools and processes.

• Work collaboratively with seasoned engineers to create fast, dependable systems that render large-scale data accessible and comprehensible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Go; candidates with less experience may be considered if they have notable GitHub contributions and other coding samples.

• Proficient SQL skills with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.

• Capability to effectively utilize ORMs and write as well as debug complex raw SQL queries.

• Ability to produce testable, high-quality code.

• Product-focused mindset with an emphasis on product excellence.

• A proactive curiosity and readiness to independently investigate sources.

• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Must be able to pass a technical interview in both Russian and English.

• Practical and thoughtful use of AI tools in development.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Armenia without requiring visa support now or in the future.
