Backend / DevOps Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services using Python.

• Optimize the performance and scalability of existing services.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment of code.

• Implement Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices.

• Monitor production services and resolve incidents to ensure high availability.

• Enhance system reliability through stress testing, logging, and metrics.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify tooling and integration needs.

• Provide guidance on best practices for DevOps and backend development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Backend and/or DevOps engineer.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Experience with Linux.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker).
