Backend Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Scrape a variety of APIs on an industrial scale (TBs/day)

• Develop backend services using Python for high-load, data-intensive applications

• Enhance data pipelines and analytics

• Write and review backend code to ensure quality, security, and adherence to best practices

• Implement automated unit and end-to-end testing protocols

• Engage in CI/CD processes

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system stability and performance

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Python, with extensive knowledge in creating high-load, scalable systems

• Proficient in SQL, including performance tuning and optimization capabilities

• Experience in developing microservices, data pipelines, and analytical solutions

• Familiarity with contemporary CI/CD practices and tools (GitHub)

• Ability to refactor legacy code and transition to modern technology stacks

• Strong emphasis on system observability and troubleshooting skills

• Proficient in English at a B1+ level

• Being a power-user of macOS/iOS is a significant advantage

• Experience in developing iOS applications is a plus

• Willingness to work under a B2B arrangement as an independent contractor is required in the application
