Backend Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing Python.

• Construct and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud solutions primarily with Microsoft Azure, considering GCP as an alternative.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines along with automated testing workflows.

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes in production settings.

• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team environment.

• Engage in code reviews, project planning, and architectural discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in Python backend development at a senior level.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure; GCP experience is acceptable as an alternative.

• Familiarity with FastAPI and/or Django frameworks.

• Proven experience in designing and constructing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes within production environments.

• Knowledge of GraphQL.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems, including Kafka or Azure Service Bus.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.

• Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices, as well as code quality tools.

• Proficient in version control with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and backend environments.

• Capability to work within Agile/Scrum teams.

• Effective communication skills in English.
